We’re really rolling our eyes here at HotMessFolder about this move. Reportedly, the Dallas Cowboys have signed defensive lineman Greg Hardy from the Carolina Panthers. The issue: Hardy was recently wrapped up in a court case for allegedly assaulting a woman and issuing threats, according to reports. The case was only reportedly thrown out, because the victim didn’t show up in court (which raises a whole other series of issues in regards to how the legal system handles victims). Hardy is also reportedly facing NFL sanctions for violating the leagues personal conduct policy. With all the hot mess domestic violence drama the NFL had in 2014, it’s hard to understand why NFL teams are still fooling around with dudes who’ve had issues like this. On top of his legal drama, reportedly the Dallas Cowboys have offered Hardy some serious cash up to $13.1 million-dollars for a year, depending on how much he ends up playing. Get yourself charged with a crime against a woman and the next thing you know you’re making multi-millions. Hot mess!
