Ah heck no! Just when we think this story can’t get any messier, it does. By now, we’ve all heard about the reserve deputy in Tulsa, Oklahoma who fatally shot a man caught up in a police sting, instead of tasing him. The reserve deputy’s name is Robert Bates and he is an unpaid member of the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office. Bates has subsequently been charged with manslaughter. Now new reports say that Bates’ certification records were falsified. The reports say he was wrongly given credit for field training and firearms training. HotMessFolder thinks heads better roll over this mess. Anyone who had a hand in falsifying this dude’s certification should be criminally charged for their negligence. Just mind numbing!
